The Community Fund established following completion of the Mynydd y Gwair Wind Farm will be open for grant applications in early 2019.

The Fund will be open to all voluntary and community groups within the area of Penllergaer for schemes that demonstrate significant benefits for the community.

Grants will be available for small schemes ranging from £10,000 to large projects in excess of £100,000.

Wind Farm Grant Application forms will be available from Swansea Council for Voluntary Services in due course and further information is available from Mr David Hoskins, Clerk to the Council.
